Why Join Trucking Association of New York (TANY)?
Save Valuable Time
Members of TANY receive unlimited assistance with safety regulation questions, tax compliance, registration, permit issues and more. Rather than taking your time to track down the right person to talk to, let us do the work for you.
Shape the Next Generation
Workforce development is a top priority of TANY. Whether it's promoting the trucking industry as a top career choice to high school students, developing logistics clubs and apprenticeship programs, attending career fairs, or advancing legislation to address the driver and technician shortage, TANY is hard at work.
TANY continually looks for ways to save our members money on services they utilize every day. The association offers discounts on safety supplies, shipping and tolls. Additionally, our affinity partners provide TANY members an opportunity to save on workers' compensation insurance, liability insurance, legal services and more.
The Winning Team
The government affairs committee works every day to lower your tax and compliance burden in New York State. Through our advocacy efforts, legislation has been enacted which continues to save the trucking industry both financial and administrative resources. Equally as important, TANY has prevented policy initiatives that would have negatively impacted the industry. We are currently working on several pieces of legislation that would benefit our members. Strength is in numbers.
Expand Your Circle
TANY's many programs and events provide valuable opportunities to exchange ideas and best practices as well as develop connections within the industry. Additionally, the association has a members-only online community forum, called the Trucking Interchange, where questions and conversations extend beyond the conference room.
